 PANGONG TSO, INDIA CHINA CONFLICT  CHINESE BRINGS MORE BOATS TO LAKE IN  THE LADAKH. PANGONG TSO: Pangong tso is a long narrow deep ,landlocked lake  situated at a height of more than 14,000 ft in the Ladakh himalayas. The134 km long lake lies over 600 sq km in the shape of a boomerang and is 6-7 km wide at its broadest point. It is a brackish water (salt water as well as fresh water ) lake  freezes over in winters and becomes ideal for ice skating and polo. DIPLOMACY AND STRATEGIC VIEWS:   Indian assessment shows that a major chinese offensive, if it comes ,will flow across both the north and south of the lake. During the 1962 war ,this was where China launched its main offensive. and Rezangla pass is near this lake.             INDIA NEPAL BORDER DISPUTE The India- Nepal relations witnessed a diplomatic  problem over the functioning of the mansarovar link road "this new link will cut down travel time for kailash mansarovar pilgrims by almost 75%,it is a strategic connector that links pithoragarh in Uttarakhand to lipulekh near tri-junction(India-Nepal-china).In the reaction the government of Nepal came out with protest against the link and saying it is a unilateral act by India and arguing to refrain from such activities. Why greed when we got happiness When I was returning from college , I saw a boy of our course ,who was going home alone not only that day but also many times. I had seen him in solitude. He looks pretty much disturbed or like something eating him from inside. The very next day ,I accompanied him on his way back and tried to strike up a conversation with him,by introducing myself.
